Carmen Castilla, MD
Dr. Carmen Castilla is a Board-certified dermatologist, with extensive experience diagnosing and treating all skin, nail and hair conditions. Her expertise covers acne, dermatitis, eczema, skin cancer, hair loss, psoriasis and sun damage. Dr. Castilla strives to offer dermatology on an individualized basis, recommending appropriate prescriptions and procedures based on a patient's natural interest in various therapies. She cares for both adult and pediatric patients, and stays at the forefront of trends in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Castilla has expertise in the use of injectables (Botox, Xeomin, Juvederm, Restylane, and others) and Microneedling to banish wrinkles and and help patients reflect a youthful mood without any change in facial structure. She is certified and experienced in the use of several laser devices, including those for hair removal, anti-aging, skin resurfacing, body contouring and vein and pigmented lesion removal. After receiving her B.S. in Studio Art from NYU, Dr. Castilla went on to receive her M.D. from the Rutgers School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at NYU. Dr. Castilla is Clinical Instructor in Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology at Mt. Sinai. Dr. Castilla is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
